The former vice-president of French Polynesia, Teva Rohfritsch, is running for the Senate with the ambition of strengthening the autonomy of the municipalities. He advocates for a separation of elections and increased decentralization, while claiming to have fulfilled almost all of his commitments. Rohfritsch also wishes to address the issue of the high cost of living and international freight to better defend the interests of the Polynesians in Paris.
