The mayor of Mont-Dore, Nina Julié, supports the viaduct project aimed at improving travel safety to Mont-Dore Sud and promoting economic development. This project, discussed since the 1970s, could create thousands of jobs. Currently, two routes are under consideration, and environmental studies are underway to assess the impact of the viaduct on the region.
