On the night of August 27 to 28, the residents of French Guiana will be able to observe a partial lunar eclipse, marked by the appearance of a red moon. This phenomenon will begin at 11:30 PM, when the shadow of the Earth starts to cover the Moon. The red color of the Moon results from sunlight filtered through the Earth's atmosphere. No special equipment is required to enjoy this spectacle, although binoculars or a telescope are recommended.
