The High Commission of New Caledonia has published its report for 2025, revealing an increase in first-time residence admissions, although economic immigration has declined. Applications for identity cards and passports were also numerous, with a quick processing of files. Furthermore, 44 new French nationalities have been granted. The administration plans to continue improving its services in 2026.
