The 10th edition of SAFTHON highlighted Réunion's efforts in combating fetal alcohol syndrome. The SAF France association emphasizes that alcohol is dangerous from the early weeks of pregnancy. Thanks to awareness campaigns, the rate of alcohol consumption among pregnant women has significantly decreased. However, challenges remain, particularly a lack of national support to sustain these initiatives.
