In response to the increase in drug seizures, La Réunion is committing to a collective fight against drug trafficking. A charter has been signed among the stakeholders of the port sector to raise awareness and train employees about the risks associated with trafficking. Measures, such as a hotline for anonymous reporting, will be implemented to protect staff and enhance security at the Grand Port Maritime, the main entry point to the island.
