This Sunday, the 43rd edition of the International Marathon of New Caledonia was marked by the death of a young participant in his twenties. Victim of a malaise around 9:45 AM, he was taken care of by emergency services, but despite their efforts, he did not survive. This tragedy recalls a similar incident that occurred in 2010, where another runner also lost his life during the event. The race was interrupted by municipal decision.
