A recent outage affected the water supply system in La Plata, which is currently operating with three of its four pumping units. This has resulted in a daily production of 50 million gallons, leaving a shortfall of 20 million gallons. Efforts to restore normal service are ongoing to improve the situation for the remaining subscribers.
