The route of the Independence Day parade of Trinidad and Tobago for 2026 has been changed. This year, the departure will be from Memorial Park in Port of Spain, replacing the traditional starting point at Queen’s Park Savannah. The parade will take several streets before ending at the Police Training College in St James. Road closures are to be expected, and the government has allocated a budget for this event marking the 64th anniversary of Independence.
