The fencing federation of Antigua and Barbuda is facing difficulties due to an insufficient number of coaches, thus limiting the intake of new athletes. The president of the federation pointed out that, although interest in the sport is growing, the availability of volunteer coaches restricts registration opportunities. Currently, only three coaches are active, despite increasing participation in recent tournaments. The federation is preparing for its national championships scheduled for October 2026.
