An investigation has been opened in Bimini following the attack on a 37-year-old Austrian woman by a shark. The incident occurred while she was participating in a dolphin excursion, about three nautical miles off the coast. After being injured on her right ankle, she was transported to the Bimini community clinic, then airlifted to New Providence for further medical care.
