The government of Barbados has launched two national initiatives aimed at strengthening the bonds between generations and preserving the cultural memory of the elderly. The Granddaddy intergenerational mentoring project and the Pillars of Barbados: Voices of Our Elders program were presented at an event at the relevant ministry. These projects aim to promote the sharing of wisdom and to value the contributions of the elderly in society.
