The renovated Pedro Téllez mixed center hosted the opening ceremony of the school year in Pinar del Río. For the first time since 2010, it offers training to become a sign language interpreter, with 17 young people enrolled. Additionally, the Gabriela Mistral primary school is becoming a special school for autistic children, providing adapted facilities. More than 70,000 students are expected in the province this year.
