Luanda will host an extraordinary session of the Assembly and an ordinary session of the Executive Council of the African Union on August 29 and 30. These meetings aim to strengthen prevention and conflict resolution mechanisms on the continent. The Chairperson of the AU Commission praised Angola's commitment to peace and encouraged the country to continue its diplomatic efforts in the face of interconnected security crises in Africa.
