A 23.9-meter fishing boat lost all contact with land as severe weather conditions affected the area. Distressed crew members were rescued and transported to Truong Sa Lon island. The last known position of the vessel was 17.6 nautical miles from Vietnamese waters, facing strong winds and high waves.
