The Global Education Monitoring Report 2026 from UNESCO highlights the progress made by the Dominican Republic in early childhood education. Over a decade, the country has recorded a seven-point increase in access to education, reaching a rate comparable to that of Brazil. However, challenges remain, particularly in improving reading and math skills for young students, in order to achieve quality education goals by 2030.
