In July, the Chilean economy recorded a decrease of 1.5 points, mainly due to disappointing performances in the mining sector, particularly copper extraction. Unfavorable weather conditions also disrupted industrial and service activities. Despite this, energy production saw an increase, and retail trade slightly progressed thanks to the sale of food and clothing products.
