Dozens of relatives of inmates have filed a lawsuit challenging the restrictions on visits at the high-security Santa Elena prison. Accompanied by a human rights defense committee, they are calling for measures to ensure communication and visits, including through digital means. Families are also concerned about the lack of information regarding the health and living conditions of the inmates.
