The transformation of the labor market in Cuba is not limited to recent economic changes. It alters the relationships between workers, employers, and unions, in a context of economic blockade and increasing precariousness. Trade unionism must adapt to a more diverse workforce and varied working conditions, while preserving unity and solidarity. Union representation must evolve to meet the new expectations of workers and guarantee their rights in this constantly changing reality.
