Recent fighting in Taiz between government forces and Houthis has resulted in casualties on both sides. According to military sources, several Houthis were killed or injured during an attack attempt. Government forces also reported losses within their ranks. Meanwhile, measures have been adopted by the Presidential Council to counter the Houthis, as the conflict has persisted for nearly twelve years in Yemen.
