From September 2 to 6, Medellín hosts the tenth edition of the Afro Kunta Kinte International Community Film Festival, highlighting the resistance of Afro-descendant peoples. Among the featured works is "Voices of 1912," a film by Cuban director Jonal Cosculluela, which explores the historical repression against the Independent Party of Color in Cuba. This project, born in theater, aims to awaken emotions around memory and cultural identity.
