Starting from August 28, 16 new judges will be installed in Guadeloupe as part of a reinforcement of judicial staff. Among them, three will join the Court of Appeal of Basse-Terre, while others will be distributed among the courts of Pointe-à-Pitre and Basse-Terre. Notably, the arrival of two women from the Caribbean marks a significant step towards a judiciary that better represents local realities.
