A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured this Tuesday at Bois-Jolan beach in Sainte-Anne following a near-drowning incident. Emergency services were alerted shortly after noon and found the victim conscious but in a concerning state. She was airlifted to the CHU after receiving first aid from the SMUR, with the assistance of eleven firefighters on site.
