A hacking incident affected the information system of the Directorate General of Public Finances, leading to the extraction of sensitive data from numerous taxpayers. At the end of June 2026, an individual managed to impersonate identities to access this information. The DGFiP responded by strengthening its security measures and is continuing its investigations to assess the extent of the compromised data. Affected users will be informed individually.
