Abdoul Diallo, accused of the murder of Lilian Dejean in Grenoble, admitted to having shot him while denying that he intended to kill him. During his hearing, he explained that after a car accident, he felt threatened by the victim. Despite his statements, he fled the scene. Diallo, already known to law enforcement, was arrested two months later in Portugal and is currently in pre-trial detention. The investigation is ongoing.
