The city of Petit-Bourg is setting up a photovoltaic plant on the roof of the Gaël Monfils sports complex, marking a turning point towards energy self-sufficiency. This project, in collaboration with Albioma, aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and lower the energy bill. Other plants are planned by 2027, offering the city the opportunity to renovate 20 roofs while generating significant savings to invest in public maintenance.
