The government has decided to suspend a half-day of classes in all high schools starting October 7. This initiative aims to allow students to discuss their schooling conditions and voice their demands. Schools in Martinique and Guadeloupe are also affected. At the same time, a national consultation will be launched to gather students' opinions on their difficulties and the changes they wish to see.
