The democracy clubs initiated by CAFFE in Jamaican schools are experiencing an alarming decline, with an 85% drop in participation. This program, launched in 2021 to raise awareness among young people about democracy, is suffering from a lack of international funding. Out of 40 clubs, only six remain active, largely due to the absence of teacher and student leaders. Despite these challenges, officials hope to revive the initiative with increased financial support.
