The Jamaican government is making progress in developing its first Civil Aviation Master Plan, aimed at structuring the sustainable development of the sector. In collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority and international experts, consultations are underway to assess the current air system and define priorities. This plan, which will extend until 2027, will integrate issues of safety, infrastructure, and economic development, while aligning with the UN's sustainable development goals.
