A taxi driver narrowly escaped death during an armed attack in Kingston. While transporting passengers, a man posing as a customer opened fire on him after asking for a stop. Hit in the arm, the driver managed to escape and take refuge in a nearby community. He was rescued by another taxi and taken to the hospital, where he received treatment. The police are investigating the incident.
