An evacuation and demolition operation took place on August 25 in Californie, Lamentin, under the authority of the prefect of Martinique. This intervention, motivated by court decisions, targeted constructions occupied without rights on private and public land. The occupants were evacuated and an emergency housing solution was offered to one family. The site will be restored to comply with current regulations.
