The people of Martinique are clear in their aspirations regarding the institutional future of their island. They wish to strengthen local powers while maintaining their connection with France, without considering autonomy or independence. Past consultations reveal a trend towards favoring a more efficient local organization without breaking away from the Republic. A call for a new clear and precise consultation is therefore made to better understand the expectations of the residents.
