A Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Rome had to make an emergency landing in Saint John's, Newfoundland, this Sunday. Nearly 300 passengers were diverted due to a suspected engine problem. The landing was made without incident and without injuries. A new aircraft is scheduled to allow passengers to continue their journey to Rome as early as Monday morning.
