A new experiment is underway in Trinité, aimed at improving the collection of sargassum on the shores. Since August 21, specialized equipment, including an excavator and a barge, are being used to collect and transfer the algae directly into the sea. The initial results seem promising, and the officials hope that this method can be generalized if it proves effective. The operation will continue until August 25.
