Law enforcement launched a control operation in Saint-Benoît, mobilizing about fifteen gendarmes to combat addictions and protect vulnerable users. This initiative, dubbed "Blue City", aims to enhance road safety on the island. In collaboration with Mauritian police, the gendarmes intensified checks to prevent serious offenses, particularly related to alcohol and drugs.
