In response to the persistent heat in Saint Lucia, schools are adapting their practices to ensure the well-being of students. At Saint Mary’s College, students can now drink water in class. Other schools, such as Aux Lyons Combined School, are setting up dedicated hydration areas. Principals are considering changes to the uniform if the heat persists, while taking into account the identity of the institution and the opinions of parents.
