The Dominican filmography is enriched with The Bachata of Biónico, which will be screened in several theaters in Mexico, including the Cineteca Nacional and the Filmoteca of UNAM. After winning the Audience Award at SXSW 2024, the film explores the life of a man in search of redemption in contemporary Santo Domingo. This release aims to broaden the audience for Dominican cinema internationally.
