Between 2015 and 2024, the Dominican Republic recorded a significant increase in the secondary completion rate, rising from 56% to 64%. This progress, the most significant observed among four educational indicators by Unesco, reflects better inclusion of children in the educational system. Despite these advances, the country still lags behind regional leaders and must continue to fight against school dropout.
