The Superintendencia de Salud y Riesgos Laborales (Sisalril) announced the implementation of a new medical audit regulation. This initiative aims to strengthen the quality of care, reduce costs for affiliates, and ensure better transparency among the actors in the healthcare system. A register of medical auditors will also be established to guarantee the competence of the professionals involved in these audits. The concerned entities have three months to comply with the new guidelines.
