A 25-year-old woman lost her life following the shipwreck of a catamaran in Baní, while a 29-year-old man is hospitalized in intensive care. The accident occurred at Punta Salinas beach, where the catamaran was carrying twelve people. Rescue services took care of all the occupants, but despite efforts, the victim did not survive. An investigation is underway to determine the causes of this incident.
