An investigation has been launched following an assault that occurred on Monday morning in Pelletier, Lamentin. A father and his son, near a bus stop, were approached by two individuals on a scooter, masked and gloved. One of the assailants fired a shot into the ground and struck one of the victims. The thieves stole personal belongings before fleeing. The victims have filed a complaint and the suspects are actively being sought.
