U.S. Coast Guard repatriated 51 Dominican and Haitian migrants after intercepting their overloaded vessel near Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Among them, 34 Dominicans and 17 Haitians were detected thanks to a customs aircraft. The adults were handed over to the Dominican Navy, while the minors were taken care of by local authorities. This maritime passage remains dangerous for migrants.
