A fire broke out this afternoon at the ATOUMO reception center for minors in Morne Rouge, Sainte-Rose. The flames affected several rooms, but the twelve occupants were able to evacuate without injury. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control while checking the roof for any potential residual hotspots. One firefighter was treated after feeling unwell, but the situation was not serious. The securing operation is ongoing.
