The General Directorate of Migration announced the arrest of 2,256 foreigners in an irregular situation during operations conducted on October 30. The interventions took place in urban, rural areas and along the borders. The highest numbers of arrests were reported in Dajabón and Elías Piña. The apprehended individuals were transferred to the Haina Treatment Center for the necessary procedures.
