Miquelon-Langlade wants to revive its historic twinning with the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, which has been interrupted for several years. During a video conference, elected officials from both communities discussed the possibility of reestablishing an air link, which has been closed since 2025. The mayor of Miquelon-Langlade, Franck Detcheverry, also mentioned joint projects on environmental protection and upcoming cultural and sports exchanges.
