The Guadeloupe gendarmerie recently received a DT46 drone, presented at a press conference. This device, capable of taking off like a helicopter and flying like an airplane, will enhance the surveillance of the 650 kilometers of coastline of the archipelago. With a range of over five hours, it will allow for anticipating maritime trafficking and directing the interventions of gendarmes on the ground.
